Today at Sentosa Cove — bringing the cool back to luxury.
Today was one of those jobs that reminded me why I enjoy doing what I do.
We were at Sentosa Cove, onboard the beautiful yacht “Annabella”, providing temporary cooling while the yacht’s main air-conditioning system undergoes important servicing.
Two of our portable aircon units were deployed into the cabin areas — and they worked remarkably well together.
The entire cabin became cool, comfortable and cosy again.
But what made today’s job particularly meaningful to me was the people behind it.
I had the pleasure of working closely with Mr. Simon, who is leading this entire project. Simon has been incredibly open, cooperative and easy to work with.
When both sides are willing to communicate, understand the situation and work together to find the right solution, everything becomes so much easier.
For me, that is what Coolah is really about.
It is not simply about delivering an aircon.
It is about working together with people to solve a very real problem — and seeing the difference that cooling can make.
And today, that difference was very clear.
A beautiful space needs to feel comfortable too
Because this is a beautiful luxury yacht.
But I strongly believe that luxury is not only about beautiful interiors, expensive furniture or how impressive a yacht looks.
Luxury is also about how you feel inside that space.
In Singapore, when the weather is hot and the cabin is warm, even the most beautiful environment can become uncomfortable.
Without air-conditioning, luxury loses a big part of its meaning.

To bring comfort back — as fast as humanly possible.
